Andrea Mayer

Andrea Mayer Andrea Mayer is the only woman rider in the BMW team. She has been active in motorcycle sport since 1989 and is currently the leading woman rider in motorcycle rallying. She has won her class in the Transdanubia Rally in Hungary twice, the Rally Optic 2000 in Tunisia several times and the Ladies Cup in the 1996 Paris-Dakar Rally.

When she's not riding, she works as a freelance journalist and as an instructor at BMW's Enduro Park in Hechlingen, so that her whole life can be said to revolve round the motorcycle. She has even celebrated her birthday on two occasions in the saddle of a motorcycle!
